Description:
GYFTA, Non-Metallic Strength Member No Armored Fiber Cable. Fiber Optilk, 250μm, are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with water-resistant filling compound. A FRP, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for cable with high fiber count, locates in the center of core as a non-metallic strength member. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. The Aluminum tape is applied around the cable core, which is filled with filling compound to protect it from water ingress. Finally, the fiber optic aerial cable is completed with a PE sheath.
