Underground Fiber Splice Enclosure also called Fiber Enclosure, It made of Modified P.P and has a new gasket seal making them ideal for a wide variety of applications.


MJADOM offers Fiber Optic Splice Closure (Aerial / Pole Mount / Underground, Heat Shrink Sealing / Mechanical Sealing, 24-576 Fibers, LC/SC adapter, Protective Level IP68, 1x8/1x16 PLC Splitter).

The Underground Fiber Splice Enclosure

The underground fiber enclosure (RGP-TSB-104A) is made of plastic molded parts and gasket sealing materials. It's a Mechanical Gel Sealing type FOSC, which can adopt 6 Round Port design for 3 inlets & 3 outlets.

The sliding latching mechanism can simply do the closing of the closure. The latching system provides a short installation time and it can be easy to re-enter. There is no need for special tooling to close or open the closure.



The underground splice enclosure is suitable for up to 12 single fibers, which can cover most of the applications in the fiber distribution networks like Fiber To The Home / Fiber To The Curb (FTTH/FTTC) Under-ground, aerial, pedestal or direct buried applications are possible with the closure. 


How to splice underground cable

Underground fiber splicing is a very common task. It involves connecting two different types of cables together. This is done by pulling out the old cable, cutting off the ends, then inserting the new cable into the cut end. Once the connection is made, the ends need to be sealed so they don't leak.
