Description :

RGP-F2E-507GY   16 Port Connectorized tap type closure for IP 65 aerial mounting fiber optics, hardened couplers. Hermetic IP 55 exterior with protection against humidity and dust, security in the OSP cover by means of T15 torx screws with security point and closure of covers with snaps that do not come off. Thermoplastic material closure with good hardnes performances, adapters for Place over standard SC/APC connectors and make connection into hardened coupler SC/APC of the tap type connectorized closure and all the necessary accessories for its correct facility.


Feature:

Total enclosed structure.; Application: Wall-mounted & Pole-Mounted.

Degree of tightness in conjunction with hardened coupler (tap): IP 55.

Security on the external plant cover: OSP secured by T15 Torx screws with a point security.

Number of main cable entry/exit ports (grommets): 4

Type of main cable entry/exit port (eyelets): Round and/or oval with airtightness.

Type of hermetic material in the main cable entry/exit ports: Grommet, rubber, etc.

Input/output port compatibility for Fig.8 type cable (10x14mm) with steel messenger 1/16”.

Fiber storage capacity: 24 fibers (in 2 loose tubes of 2.3 mm diameter with 12 fibers inside each one.

Splice trays: Minimum two, each with capacity for three PLC holder slots (2 splitters 1:8 & 1 of 1:16).

Coupler Type: Hardened interface design for SC/APC connectors.

Attachment method: Using adapter (boot and grommet) compatible with 3mm drop cable and SC/APC connector.

Accessories included with quantities and dimensions: Everything necessary for its correct installation, e.g. grommets, couplings, glands, screws, transport tube or spiral protection, organizers, plastic straps, velcro, metal clamps, heat shrinkable sleeves, tape thickening or sealing device, aerial mounting hardware, drop adapters and SC/APC connector.

 

Provide installation manual with diagrams, indicating the process for assembly, entry and fastening of the main cable with stripping lengths, cable preparation in case of type Fig.8 (includes FRP and 1/16'' messenger) routing diagram to visualize how to organize the main cable, splitter pigtails, diagrams of the inside of the splice tray showing the configuration of the slots for fastening splices and PLC holder for two 1:8 & a standard 1:16 one.

 

Indicate the procedure to assemble the adapter (boot and grommet) on the drop cable 3mm round and SC/APC connector. Indicate the proper way to connect it to the couplers Hardened SC/APC of the tap type connectorized closure.
